Plant & Garden Harvest Exchange + Pollinator Pathway Spotlight

Kick off the Manchester Garden Club’s new season with an evening of sharing, reconnecting, and celebrating the abundance of our gardens. Members are invited to bring healthy plants, divisions, rooted cuttings, seedlings, seeds, bulbs, vegetables, herbs, flowers, or other garden-related items to exchange with fellow members.

Those who bring an item will receive a numbered ticket, and numbers will be drawn at random to determine the picking order. We’ll continue in rounds so everyone has an opportunity to choose something new to take home. Whether you bring a favorite perennial division, extra tomatoes from the garden, collected seeds, or another garden treasure, the exchange is a fun way to share what we grow and discover something new.

The evening will also feature a presentation by Rachel Schnabel highlighting the work of the Manchester Pollinator Pathway. Rachel will share an overview of the initiative and some of the ways the Pollinator Pathway has been engaging the community, creating and improving pollinator habitat, educating residents about the importance of native plants and pollinators, and encouraging people to make their own yards and community spaces more welcoming to wildlife.

Join us for a relaxed and social start to the year as we reconnect after the summer, share the bounty of our gardens, and learn how local efforts are helping pollinators thrive throughout Manchester.
