Every civic garden is community-funded.
Our civic gardens are funded entirely by member dues and community donations. Your contribution helps us purchase plants, mulch and supplies that keep Manchester blooming beautifully throughout the year.

A Century of Cultivating Community and Beauty
Founded in 1926, the Club has planted gardens, hosted flower shows, supported conservation and inspired generations of gardeners in Manchester.

First Annual Plant Sale launched
1941
Joins the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut
1967
Margaret Trotter Memorial Garden dedicated downtown
1985
Vietnam Memorial Park Garden dedicated on Memorial Day
1994
Buckley Memorial Garden dedicated at Manchester Green
2011
Gateway Garden established for "Plant It Pink"
2024
Buckley Garden redesigned as a native landscape
